Mijas is a great area for families. The beaches are child-friendly and great for building sand castles, paddling, swimming and having picnics. Children are really welcomed in all Spanish restaurants where they will be sure to be made a fuss of by the locals! There is a children's play area in La Cala town in the gardens at Calle Fuengirola. You will find small children's play parks everywhere in Spain, many being attached to restaurants and bars.

The apartment's private and secure gardens are perfect for letting toddlers explore, play and splash around in the large children's pool.

In the apartment
Having two small children ourselves, we understand that travelling with little ones can be challenging so we have helped to take pressure off by providing:
- Travel cot
- Highchair
- Changing mat
- Baby food blender
- Plastic cups, plates and toddler cutlery
- A small selection of children's toys, books and DVD's, beach toys (balls, buckets, spades etc)
- A lift which takes you up to the first floor to just outside the apartment front door useful for buggies, luggage and small children!
